Week 6: 52 Weeks of Photos

Our neighbor asked my son to help him research and build a bat house.  J was SO excited, he found a few websites with PDFs to print, read over them, and shared them with our neighbor.  They've been working the past few weeks on their project and today they finished it! 

There is a small side channel of a creek, we call it a tiny stagnant canal, right behind our back yards.  The mosquitoes here are awful.  There are SO many dragonflies, there are also frogs and fish, but hopefully bats will help control the mosquitoes.

Now they're trying to figure out the best way to hang it in one of the trees out back, and get some bats to move in!
