We attended a funeral last week. It's hard to loose a loved one, but it's a great blessing to know about the purpose of life and the
Plan of Salvation. (Another helpful link to learn about the
Plan of Salvation) Funerals are more like a life celebration with this knowledge. This funeral was for my husband's grandfather. He was a wonderful man and did so many great things on this earth, and we know he is continuing to do many more great things in the spirit world right now.
One thing grandpa was well known for was his Model A. His casket was driven to the cemetery in a truck (that I don't know what the model is) by my husband's uncle, and my father-in-law followed in the Model A. It was pretty cool to see.
Of course this is the best part of great grandpa's car!
