Weekly Recap

I've been so busy that I'm a few days behind in getting this written! Last Sunday, J was set apart as the deacon's quorum president. I attended Sunday School and had a great lesson about Joseph Smith, the Godhead, and a little history added in with the Nicean Creed.

Monday our history lesson was about how the Smith family moved so many times in order to get to where God needed Joseph to be. We also talked about Joseph Smith's operation when he was a child.

Weekly Recap: With the retirement and the fire

The end is in sight! One more week of school and then I can focus on some other business that we've got going on.

Last Sunday M and I attended an indexing class at church. We learned how to use the new web based indexing program on FamilySearch.org. I'm so excited that we can index on our Chromebook now. We went to my parents for a birthday/mother's day dinner. My kids and husband spoiled me with cards, flowers, chocolates, and Willow Tree figurines that represent my children. I am so blessed to have amazing kids and a wonderful husband.

Monday was our history lesson on the War of 1812. The kids gave the dog a bath.

Week 38: 52 Weeks of Photos

Does anyone have some extra time they'd let me have?  I want to finish this project, which is only 5-6 pages, but I just can't find the time!

Week 29: 52 Weeks of Photos

Oh my.... I can't even stand the cuteness!!  Last month my little guy moved from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.  Here he is, his first and last month as a Cub Scout.

Interesting tidbit:  When he started Cub Scouts, we bought him this blue shirt that was a bit too big.  He's nearly outgrown it!  When I picked up his tan Boy Scout shirt, they had the same size shirt as the blue one.  I wasn't going to buy it because I bet he'll be too tall for it in 6 months.  So I bought the next size.  It fits ME, so of course it's too big for him.  Why are there no in between sizes?  Oh well, he'll grow into it in a year or two!
