"The Master and His Apprentices: Art History from a Christian Perspective" Review

I have been using the book The Master and His Apprentices: Art History from a Christian Perspective. We received a digital copy of it from The Master and His Apprentices. This book is intended to be used to study art and can be used as a full credit of art history for high school students.

It would also be good to use as a reference or supplement to other art history courses, or to just learn about art history for fun. I chose to use it as an adult studying art history. This book is full of examples of many pieces of artwork. What makes this book unique is there is no nudity. When you get to the Michelangelo pages, the statue of David is cropped to show only a foot. The Creation of Adam is cropped to show just the forearms and hands.

Magic Stix Washable Markers Review

I think that craft and coloring items are a necessary household category, and my kids happen to agree with me. When we were offered an opportunity to review Magic Stix Washable Markers from The Pencil Grip, Inc., everyone couldn't wait to try them out!

Magic Stix Washable Markers

We have reviewed items from The Pencil Grip, Inc. in the past, you can find our reviews of Kwik Stix here. This set of 24 markers are a new item and they have their own unique characteristic... they don't dry out if you leave the cap off for seven days! It's kind of amazing, and we had to put it to the test.

Thin Stix: Solid Tempera Paint Review

Last year we discovered the great products The Pencil Grip, Inc. has available, so when my kids heard that they were coming out with a new size paint stick, they begged me to buy them! We were lucky enough to get to review the Thin Stix 6pk of Classic Colors, but the kids had to practice a little patience while we waited for this review item to arrive.

Kwik Stix Review and Giveaway

Kwik Stix ReviewMy children love creating and art, and were excited to try this new kind of paint.  The Pencil Grip, Inc. sent us a Kwik Stix 12 pk plus a pencil grip and sample Kwik Stix to review.  I told my preschooler these were coming and I wanted to see how she might use them.  She paced the floor until the delivery truck arrived!

I think they have magnetic properties because when the package was opened, all the children came running and haven't left them alone since.  I haven't been able to prove the magnetic theory though...
