It's been a busy week and another one is just beginning! Besides the end of school, my niece got married, my nephew is getting married next week, and my parents held a BBQ yesterday to celebrate all the family visiting for the weddings and to start our Memorial Day celebrations. Today we will visit the cemetery. It's neat to talk about which ancestor served in which branch of the military and who served during which war. I hope my kids maintain their gratitude for this holiday and those we celebrate it for.
I didn't ask anyone if I could share their picture on my blog, so I tried to pick one that isn't too revealing. This is my niece's friend, who is now known as "the jumping guy". He teaches street gymnastics and was the unplanned entertainment at our family BBQ. So glad he came, it was fun to meet him as well as see his skills.
