I haven't read Marie Kondo's first book, The Life-changing Magic of
Tidying Up. So I was skeptical about reading this book and not
understanding her methods. There was no need for me to feel that way!
In the introduction she asks if you are committed to tidying up. If so,
this book is for you! If you are not committed, read the first book.
She also mentions that Spark Joy is like an encyclopedia of tidying up.
So Spark Joy is where I began!
There are plenty of tidbits in
this book to help you decide what things bring you joy and what do not.
There is information about things you might need to store. Part two of
the book gives ideas for organizing every room in your house. There
are even a few decorating tips. Overall, this book is a helpful way to
get rid of clutter and keep your home organized. I know I feel better
when my home looks nice!
