Weekly Recap: The long, tiring week

This is going to be short, I've had a busy week and I feel like I'm about 10 miles behind where I should be!

Last Sunday we had a family dinner at my parent's after church. Breaded steak and creamed peas and potatoes...my favorite foods that my grandma used to make!

History on Monday was a lesson about Lewis and Clark. We had storms all day, even some hail.

Tuesday we learned about plot graphs in literature.

Wednesday our science lesson was about three classes of levers. This week has been really stressful and this day might have been the worst..

Thursday our geography lesson was about the various industries in North America.

Friday was music and my children each presented a short report on their favorite song and composer that we studied this year. That night I went to my mom's piano and guitar students recital. It is fun to attend those, and think about when I used to perform in them!

Saturday J went to my sister's house to clean her garage and help with some other stuff. Then she took him out to lunch and brought desserts to the rest of us! I shopped for groceries, and we cleaned the house. M helped me begin a review that will post next week.

See you next week!
