We received a package from Hero Nutritionals so we could review some of their gummy vitamins. Their Yummi Bears have been around since 1997, and there is a good reason why! Kids love them, and moms like the ingredients. Hero Nutritionals is serious about making high quality vitamin products for your family.
Our vitamin kit contained a bottle of Yummi Bears Organics Complete Multi-Vitamin for kids, a bottle of Slice of Life Organics Energy + B12 for adults, samples of Slice of Life Complete Multi vitamins for adults, and Yummi Bear Organics Vitamin C for kids. My youngest two children were thrilled to receive their very own Hero bears, Oliver and Olivia!
Hero Nutritionals selects the purest, most nutritionally potent ingredients that are free of allergens, gluten, GMOs, and dairy. There are no artificial ingredients. They are sweetened with organic cane sugar and organic tapioca syrup, and the flavors and colors come from real fruit and vegetables. As a mom, I appreciate that they choose these ingredients so I don't have to worry about any artificial stuff.
The Yummi Bear Organics Complete Multi-Vitamin for kids contains 16 essential nutrients to help your child develop and grow. My kids love taking these, they say they taste great and there is no arguing over swallowing pills or chewing hard, funny tasting chewables. Making vitamins into a gummy form was a brilliant move for Hero Nutritionals.

The Slice of Life Organics Energy + B12 vitamins use methylcobalamin, a form of B12 that is easy for the body to absorb and utilize. They also contain folic acid and B6 to support heart and circulatory health, and energy metabolism. They are a pleasant cran-raspberry and black cherry flavor, so I found them easy to eat without any strange aftertaste or flavors.

The samples of Yummi Bear Organics Vitamin C for kids, and the Slice of Life Organics Complete Multi+ for adults follow the same ingredient standards that the above mentioned vitamins follow, and are also great tasting and easy to eat. We shared these samples with some friends who enjoyed them as well.
The daily dose for all of the vitamins I've mentioned is 2-3 gummies, depending on which one vitamin you are using. The suggested age for children is 2 years and up. I wouldn't give these to toddlers younger than that, I remember my kids had trouble chewing gummy things and these would be a choking risk.
You probably won't have any trouble getting kids to take these vitamins! It's a good thing they have a child proof cap though, our friend who was visiting while we were taking photos of these said her little brother got in trouble once for getting into a bottle of gummy vitamins when he had already had his for the day. So keep them out of reach of children, just in case!
My only complaint about Hero Nutritionals vitamins is how fast they disappear! Our adult Energy + B12 vitamins had 60 in the bottle, and the Complete Multi-Vitamin for kids had 90 in the bottle. With a family of 6 that amount goes fast! There are larger bottles available though, thank goodness!
The Slice of Life Organics for adults are gummy as well, and are in little citrus segment shaped pieces. I like that the adult vitamins have a different shape than the children's vitamins so that adults and children can tell whose is whose.
I had forgotten that the Energy+B12 for adults helps with energy metabolism. So after taking about half the bottle and noticing that I felt a little more awake each day, I figured the B12 and B6 must be helping me. When I read the website and package for more information to write this review, I realized that I really had benefited from taking this vitamin daily!
Hero Nutritionals Vitamins are available at many stores and websites, visit their site to find a location near you. When I explored their website I noticed they have a wide range of gummy vitamins available, including vitamin D3, Omega 3, echinacea+vitamin C+ zinc, and many more! There are even sugar free and vegetarian options, and Cinnabetic II for diabetics.
